Child and Youth Data Laboratory: Edmonton, AB.

This report is an overview of 6,311 Albertan youth (12 to 17 years) charged with offences in 2008/09. Youth with offence charges include those charged with criminal offences or administrative offences related to criminal offences(e.g.,failure to appear in court, breach of probation, etc.). Number of offencesin the study year was available, but individual incidents were not available. This means that youth charged with multiple offencesmay have had multiple chargesin a single incident, or they may have been charged in multiple incidents.
