2017 Report Card on Child and Family Poverty in Nova Scotia

Canadian Centre for Policy Alternatives

The Nova Scotia office of the Canadian Centre for Policy Alternatives tracks child and family poverty rates since 1989 and finds that despite commitments made by federal and provincial governments regarding reducing poverty in NS, the poverty rate remains unchanged overall. The CCPA makes recommendations for reducing poverty in the province.
