Delegated Aboriginal Agencies: How Resourcing Affects Service Delivery

This report focuses on the experiences of children, families, and front line workers in delegated Aboriginal agencies (DAA). DAA front line workers report continuing problems with equitable service delivery to Aboriginal children due to federal and provincial funding shortfalls. Agencies report continuing to struggle with staff retention, equitable wages, and ongoing training for their workers due to funding. Recommendations to immediately comply with the CHRTs remedies, among others are made.
