L’Étude ontarienne sur l’incidence des signalements de cas de violence et de négligence envers les enfants (EOI) vise à recueillir de l’information sur les enfants et les familles faisant l’objet d’une enquête par les services de protection de l’enfance de façon périodique en utilisant une série de définitions standardisées provenant de toutes les autorités ontariennes. Il y a eu cinq cycles d’études en 1993, 1998, 2003, 2008, 2013, 2018 et 2023.
