Prince Edward Island Family and Human Services
The government of Prince Edward Island is mandated to appoint an advisory committee every five (5) to review The Child Protection Act of PEI to ensure it meets the best interest of the child. This report is a product of a listening tour engaging community and service provider feedback on the Act and it's effectiveness in meeting the needs of children. Several recommendations are made pertaining to service delivery, Aboriginal engagement, and public policy.
