First Nations of Quebec and Labrador Health and Social Services Commission
The third component of the "Analysis of the Trajectories of Young First Nations subject to the Youth Protection Act" uses case-level longitudinal data to understand the scope of First Nations youth over-representation in Quebec's child welfare system. This report documents and compares the service trajectories of First Nations youth served by child protection with the trajectories of non-First Nations Quebec youth. It also analyzes changes to service trajectories following amendments made to Quebec's Youth Protection Act in 2007.
