The Silent World of Jordan: Special Investigation Report

This report is an extended account of the services provided to a young First Nations person called “Jordan,” while he was incarcerated at a provincial youth facility. The services reviewed in this report include those provided by the Ministry of Justice, Corrections and Policing, Ministry of Justice and Attorney General, Courts and Tribunals Division, and Agency Chiefs Child & Family Services Inc. We examined whether Jordan received the services he was entitled to under provincial  legislation, policy and practice, in addition to the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC).
