violence psychologique

Chaque province et territoire possède sa propre législation qui définit la violence psychologique et qui décrit comment réagir lorsqu’elle se produit. La violence psychologique comprend les comportements qui portent atteinte au développement de l'enfant ou à son estime de soi comme l’humiliation, le rejet, ou le fait de le priver d’amour ou de soutien. Certaines législations considèrent que le fait d’être témoin de violence familiale ou d’y être exposé est une forme de violence psychologique.
