Terre-Neuve et Labrador

À Terre-Neuve-et-Labrador, le Department of Child, Youth and Family Services (CYFS) [Ministère des Services à l'enfance, à la jeunesse et à la famille] est chargé de fournir des services de protection aux jeunes de moins de 16 ans ainsi que des services résidentiels et de soutien volontaires aux jeunes de 16 à 18 ans ayant besoin de protection en vertu de la  Children and Youth Care and Protection Act (2011). La prestation de services aux enfants et aux jeunes ayant besoin de protection est aussi orientée par le  Protection and In Care Policy and Procedure Manual [Manuel de politiques et de procédures relatives à la protection et à la prise en charge] (Department of Child, Youth and Family Services, 2011) .
