What Youth Want To Know

Your feelings are important and no problem is too small.

One thing that child protection workers look for when they speak to young people is whether or not they feel safe.  If something is happening to you that makes you feel unsafe, tell a trusted adult such as a teacher, a relative, a doctor, or a neighbour. You can also call the police, your local child protection agency, or Kids Help Phone (1-800-668-6868). If you’re in an emergency situation, you should call 911. You should tell someone how you are feeling so you can get help.
