In November 2009, the Minister of Social Services announced a broad-based Child Welfare Review in Saskatchewan. As the appointed Panel, our job was to conduct a comprehensive review of the child welfare system. We were to focus on addressing critical issues affecting the system and the development of a renewed vision for supporting children, youth, families and the child welfare system that serves them.
