Victoria, BC: The Representative for Children and Youth
This report centres on the experience of one First Nations youth who took his own life at the age of 16. This youth did not receive appropriate mental health services, despite exhibiting signs of serious mental health issues. This report raises serious questions about health care services in B.C., in particular, for Aboriginal children.
