Child and Youth Data Laboratory: Edmonton, AB.
This report is an overview of 6,311 Albertan youth (12 to 17 years) charged with oﬀences in 2008/09. Youth with oﬀence charges include those charged with criminal oﬀences or administrative oﬀences related to criminal oﬀences(e.g.,failure to appear in court, breach of probation, etc.). Number of oﬀencesin the study year was available, but individual incidents were not available. This means that youth charged with multiple oﬀencesmay have had multiple chargesin a single incident, or they may have been charged in multiple incidents.
