The Bus Ride Home Project: Developing Supports for Ontario's Child Welfare Change-makers in & from Care

This report documents the most commonly and urgently needed support solutions needed for the approximately 20,000 young people currently living in the child welfare system. Young change-makers were heard from and identified seven support services, programs and resource ideas that could benefit young people in the system. At any given time, there are an estimated 600 to 900 young people with lived experience in the child welfare system in Ontario who are working for change to improve its systems and communities.
