This information sheet describes the age distribution and child functioning characteristics identified in maltreatment-related investigations involving a Latin American child in Ontario in 2023. Findings are compared with investigations involving white children. Information presented reflects concerns identified by investigating child welfare workers at the conclusion of the investigation.
