This research report combines data gathered from review of the grey literature with interviews conducted with child welfare stakeholder organizations on outcomes for child protection involved youth who "age out". Problematic outcomes for child welfare engaged children identified by stakeholders as low educational rates; early parenthood; poor health outcomes; un/underemployment; homelessness/housing insecurity among others. This report makes recommendations to involve foster care alumni in aging out strategies for better outcomes.
